I need someone to help explain RSS/Atom/xml news feeds and aggregating tools to me. We have a website that would benefit from adding news feeds, which would ideally be displayed within a page, rather than a dedicated tool such as FeedDemon. I need help in sourcing feeds (such as those found at http://www.yellowbrix.com/?T=Normal&P=Products&F=GLPNews&MC=Google&KW=Google%20Ad%20-%20Syndicated%20Content&gclid=CMex6I7BrIQCFR9lEAod3m1cBg#itj or Syndic8) that we can use without requiring a fee (we can certainly attribute source though). Once we have identified appropriate feeds, you will need to provide a db and some raw .php pages so it can be added to existing web pages. The feed must be presented as a title only, without the story snippet. If the user clicks the title, the story is presented without images or any other media - just text, and without navigating to the source page. The result MUST be displayed as a discreet item within his current page on our site. Thanks! |
